The wait to get a new, renew, or update a driver's license (the main gov't-issued photo ID for voting) has increased from a manageable 35-45 minutes to an outrageous 3-4 hours! People are telling their friends to take a good, large book if they have to go to the DDS (Dept. of Driver Services) office in case the smartphone or iPad batteries won't hold out that long.

There's that damned backswing that discrimination, rather, allowing discrimination, carries with it.

I remember reading that one state closed DMV sites in the very areas where there were the most people without DL's and needed the photo ID's. Voter suppression is on the march.....and they mean to win by cutting out the Democratic voters.
