Federal Government Approves Drought Disaster for 62 Colorado Counties
All but two of Colorado’s 64 counties were designated as drought disaster areas Tuesday, by U.S. Secretary of Agriculture, Tom Vilsack,

All counties except Delta and San Juan qualify to receive federal assistance, including Farm Service Agency emergency loans. Farmers in eligible counties have eight months to apply for emergency loan assistance, according to a news release from Gov. John Hickenlooper’s office.

Secretary Vilsack designated the counties as disaster areas because of the losses caused by drought, excessive heat, and high winds.

The damn frackers. With drought they shouldn't be allowed to take the precious water that is needed for crops and people.
