Sunday Talks, 7/1/12
Read the full article on the blog.

The Supreme Court’s decision upholding the core of President Barack Obama’s signature health care law leads this Sunday’s television talk shows.

White House chief of staff Jack Lew is on “Fox News Sunday,” ABC’s “This Week” and CNN’s “State of the Union.”

House Speaker John Boehner (R-Ohio) is on CBS’s “Face the Nation,” along with Sens. Chuck Schumer (D-N.Y.) and Tom Coburn (R-Okla.) – as well as Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker, a Republican, and Maryland Gov. Martin O’Malley, chairman of the Democratic Governors Association.

And House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) stops by NBC’s “Meet the Press,” along with Louisiana Gov. Bobby Jindal, a Republican, and former Vermont Gov. Howard Dean, a past chairman of the Democratic National Committee.

ABC has as well House Budget Committee Chairman Paul Ryan (R-Wis.) and Vicki Kennedy, the widow of the late Sen. Ted Kennedy, who was instrumental in health care reform efforts before his death in 2009.

And CNN also has Colorado Gov. John Hickenlooper, a Democrat; Carly Fiorina, the former Hewlett-Packard CEO who’s now the vice chair of the National Republican Senatorial Committee; and former Michigan Gov. Jennifer Granholm, a Democrat.

Wonder if any of the panelists will dare ask CNN & Fox how their web sites managed to announce the mandate was struck down by SCOTUS.

I was born a Truman, but you can call me Pat. Wave

"They want to give people like me a two hundred thousand dollar tax cut that’s paid for by asking thirty three seniors to each pay six thousand dollars more in health costs? That’s not right, and it’s not going to happen as long as I’m President." Barack Obama

Some good ones too, with Pelosi and O'Malley!

Silence is consent.
