Not to mention how sad, ignorant, and pathetic these people are. They are going to a place that has REAL socialized medicine because it is considered a basic right in Canada.

Is it that they don't like the idea of government intervention and the private sector can do better? Hasn't worked yet, not to mention they've fought for years against any sort of reform. Or is it that they still hate the fact that a black man with the funny name is the POTUS.

I can't verify it, but I heard that Canada was going to build a wall along their southern border to keep out all of the...undesirables, and armed citizens were going to cover the open areas.

Maybe it's because the draft dodgers, who may have been accepted there, gave that impression? I guess it just gets picked as being English speaking and right there. Distance is what protects OZ and NZ from the same threat!

It's definitely the draft-dodging that gives people the impression that they can just up and move to Canada. Unless you have some high-tech skill that they need in Canada, and a job to go to there, it's pretty unlikely that you'll get in without having to go through a waiting period.
