It's been a little tense here this week. I have some friends who live near the southern flank of the fire who had to be evacuated, and stepping outside here in midtown has been like standing over a campfire. If the eastern flank jumps Horsetooth Reservoir the way it jumped the Poudre River on Thursday, things could get very dicey.
