It isn't about the jobs, it is about the profits....in Republican America.

If you put more people to work you decrease the size of the slice of pie for the 1%. That, in Republican speak, is class warfare and socialist redistribution of wealth.

Yep. Giving the 99% a little bit of money causes it to go to their head, and before you know it, they think they're as good as the 1%, deserving rights and fair treatment and all that. That's the Republican mindset.

Or in business school you learn that employing the least number of people possible is a wonderful thing because that's a more efficient economy. They could hire more miners by using mining methods other than mountaintop removal. But, that would cut productivity.
