It’s estimated that the opposition will spend $60 million - $100 million to convince voters that GMOs are perfectly safe. They’ll try to scare voters into believing that labeling will make food more expensive, that it will spark hundreds of lawsuits against small farmers and small businesses, and that it will contribute to world hunger. None of this is true. On the contrary, studies suggest just the opposite.

It is terrifying that Big Biz has the power and the will to fight the government over labeling in the USA. If there were any questions about who runs the gov't, they've been answered.

We should all be able to know what's in our food.

Too many chemicals and additives cause too many health problems in too many people.

Label it.

Educate the public about it.

Then, let people decide whether or not they want to eat it.

Recently, high fructose corn syrup (which triggers headaches and other problems in some), was determined by the FDA to require specific labeling. While some manufacturers labeled it as high fructose corn syrup, others listed it as "sugar." That fooled consumers, many of which had reactions to the substance.

Demand truth and honesty in labeling.
