The fact is our MEDIA doesn't do its job, and rarely gets it right. Sure, they will say that they reported the death of Rep. Gifford due to "Confusion".....but the problem with that excuse is that it is the media's job to verify what they report, and if it can't be verified, than it should not be reported. The truth of the matter is, our media, when it comes to crucial issues pushing an agenda....whether pushing War (in Iraq), maligning politicians with lies (like John Kerry), or generating hate and racism (they have been busy doing this for a while now); then they do a great job! But when it comes to what they should be doing, reporting factual news, they can't seem to get it done....ever!

Exactly! The "media" should verify verify verify instead of trying to be first to report propaganda, lies, and rumors.

It was crazy for awhile. Hurrying to get news from anybody who would talk.

I apologize to all for the stuff I posted that turned out to be bogus. But I'm very glad Gabrielle Giffords is alive.

CNN's (Republican wife of John King, also of CNN) Dana Bash blaming all of this on Both Parties and their supporters. Of course, not her or her media EVER! They are innocent of everything!

Yeah, that's pretty fucked up that they reported she was dead. Her husband wasn't even at the hospital yet probably. Seriously fucked up.

And now just watch as they drop the ball and try to downplay his rightwing ties and views and try to pass him off as just some lone nut.

If you're going to report that someone is dead, you better be damn fucking sure that you're right.

I know that NPR and MSNBC both reported that Congreswoman Giffords had died. Were there others?

I suspect the call was made after talking to eyewitnesses that saw her shot in the head at point blank range, with an exit would out the back of her head. Hard to imagine she wasn't killed.
