Romney Feigns Ignorance Of A Popular Tax Proposal He Openly Criticized A Month Ago

In March, Vice President Joe Biden floated a tax proposal known as the global minimum tax while campaigning in Iowa. The proposal, a feature of President Obama’s budget aimed at companies that use offshore tax havens to reduce the amount they pay in income taxes, would force multinational corporations based in the United States to pay a minimum tax rate, thereby adding trillions in lost revenue that is shifted to individual taxpayers and small businesses.

At the time, presumptive Republican presidential nominee Mitt Romney slammed Biden’s proposal. “Instead of promoting pro-growth tax policies that provide businesses with the economic freedom to grow and prosper, he is backing a ‘global tax’ that would harm American competitiveness,” Romney said. At a campaign stop in Portsmouth, New Hampshire yesterday, however, Romney feigned ignorance of the proposal:

Here we go, the lies. I think Willard will be in a mess by the end of the campaign. He can't tell the truth. Mr. Money wants it all.

I am now convinced that Willard would be even more of a loser at the job of President than Dubya was, and that's saying something.

Some right winger (the name escapes me right now) expounded that they don't want a strong President. They want one to simply rubber stamp whatever the true believers sent up from Congress.

With that in mind Mitt is their ideal choice. Ever compliant and lacking in any conviction beyond the bottom line he would be the perfect "Stepford" President.

That was Grover Norquist who said that pappy. He will run the White House, the GOP president would just be there to sign the bills into law. Facepalm

The man lies so much he has a hard time remembering what he has lied about, and makes up more lies to cover up former lies when he gets caught. The problem is that Mitt seems to not realize that there are sound bites and videos that are going to come back on him and prove just how much of a habitual liar he really is.

I am sure that there are ads being made as we speak that will be put out when the time is right showing just how much he lies. I think that during the debates it is really going to get tough for Mitt when the president hits him with proof of his lies, and then Mitt will get all pissed off and have a fit like he did on fox news when they pressured him on things.

I can hardly wait for those debates! Nanner
