We dropped another 2 cents overnight Seattle.. its amazing.. I had heard that there was a ton of oil off the coasts on ships ready to process..but we do not have the refinery capacity.
I know a number of years ago a bunch of refineries shut down.. and refineries are in the private sector in the U.S. aren't they? you know I have never thought about that much.. If the refineries are private sector..than the private sector is the one that has let us down.

Figure this one out. I first moved to my current location in 1997. At that time, you could go any direction from here and the price of gas would drop. For instance, by the time you got to Eugene, it was at least 10c lower. About 5 years ago, the situation completely reversed. Now, any direction you go and the price of gas rises at least 5c a gallon, or more. Absolutely no reason that anybody can figure out. None.
