The GOP has gone rogue.

The GOP has gone rogue.
The GOP no longer represent the people, only their leaders....no, not Boehner and McConnell. Their real leaders, Norquist, Luntz, Limbaugh, the Church, ALEC and the Koch Brothers.

It seems that they are misrepresenting themselves. None of their leaders have been elected by the people to legislate for them. None of their leaders has taken the oath of elected officials to represent the government....those pledges are not oaths. The pledges are meant to disrupt the Constitutional rights of the people to fair representation.

The GOP has a severely mendacious problem. Their goal is to fool the people all the time.

RE: The GOP has gone rogue.
How would they possibly represent themselves? They have nothing to lose and everything to gain by misrepresenting themselves.

They are purveyors of "the noble lie".

I really wish people would wake up. Of course they have Fox News to support their mendacity.

I hear you but I think we need to understand that wishing people to do or not to do is not really the challenge. We have seen all kinds of studies showing that facts don't matter. We think we can present facts and that these facts will win the day.

"Conservatives" play on fear and hate, and they mask that fear and hate in their convoluted ideological rationalization. We could drill down into the details of that but the bottom line is our real challenge is to somehow counter that "conservative" play on fear and hate, and I'm afraid that only way to do that is with current perception.

Bill Clinton had the strong wind of the then current perception of economic boom behind him, so the "conservative" smear campaign did not work against him in real time. I think it caught up with Al Gore a little, mostly because he didn't deal with it effectively. But it never really affected Bill.

It's a tough one. It's all about timing. We're in a bit of a lull right now. That will change.

So do we manipulate with fear and hate?

I didn't really give you an answer, did I?

I don't really have one. No, I don't think we manipulate them with fear or hate. I think we're stuck with them. I think they're a cancer. We have to fight as best we can.

themselves. The war against women, standing with Rush, Boehner most ineffective Speaker, and the list goes on......

We need to replay all of the things they have done....we don't have to make up anything.....shutting down government and they are talking about it again...

RE: The GOP has gone rogue.
It gets so tiring to respond to these RWNJs. Just yesterday on Rachel Maddow's FB page so nut case posted how Obama was going to shut down 4H and the FFA due to the labor department's new child labor laws and kids couldn't work on their farms with their parents. Of course every word of this was a BIG FAT LIE, but it gets spread and nobody bothers to read the FACTS.

I was born a Truman, but you can call me Pat. Wave
