Thank you Kent Conrad (ND) for explaining there IS a budget

As most know.. Sen Kent Conrad.. ND will be retiring.. Yes he is a blue dog.. But thank you Sen Conrad for explaining this morning how the budget in place.. and yes there is a budget in place is a law passed last year.. that will cover 2 years.

No matter how you want to dissect his politics.. he stood up this morning and explained the difference between a budget resolution.. (which the President never signs ) and a law in place. He came right out and said.. the right is lying..

Right now, we do have a law in place.. contrary to the lies the republicans are saying that the Democrats have not put a budget in action for a 1,000 days.. there is a budget in place that covers this year and next.

It has cuts of over 2 trillion (the highest cuts ever made by ANY administration) if the congress does not pass a budget in 2013.

They will be automatic.. they are in place.. we have a budget we are working with. It is a law period.

Senator Conrad was on the Daily Rundown with Chuck Todd.. and in this world of having our brains in our pockets..it was obvious that C. Todd did not understand the full extent of how this worked.. and truthfully I never fully put it together either.
