If this is a fight Ann Romney wants to take on, then game on!
In the latest faux outrage with the GOP attacks, it seems they have thrown Ann Romney out there to try and encapsulate the "average" woman's view on motherhood. Not only does this paint a distorted view of what the vast majority of moms--stay-at-home,or working--actually experience, but brings attention to what we already know: these two people have no clue what the "little people" go through each day, to try to make ends meet.

They think if "we" attack her, we will be perceived as being bullies or worse.

We'll have to find out this time as they're going all in.

Confirmed, Fox "news" makes you stupid

The ones you are noticing are more terrified than anything else. They are lashing out because they are comfortable; and to acknowledge what is happening is a threat to that comfort. Ignore them, for they are not the voices that will rise in the coming days, months and years. They are not the voices of our collected humanity. They are the old voices of fear and impotence. - Anonymous

They sure jumped on the bandwagon, thinking this would be a perfect opportunity to connect with women. That "birthday gift" comment just hit a nerve and showed exactly what their "support" of moms was all about.

The GOP only knows attack. But there is a difference in "fighting" and "attacking". Obama shows himself to be one who is a master at fighting, while not attacking. The 2008 election revealed this, but Romney's attacks are much snarkier and arrogant than McCains. I think this is what makes people dislike him so much and what gets such a vile reaction.

They want us to attack Ann.. even she said it today.. it was a gift to them the romneys..because they were having to answer for Mitts and the 2010 elected republicans stances on trying to destroy health care for women.

We keep hitting back at Mitt.. and just put the facts out there about Anne.. the facts deflate her every time..but we do not let Mitt slip by his support for the Blunt amendment among many things.. every move they make..we make two.

Thoughtful responses are the first victims of partisan passions.

From the article about Willard telling PBO to start packing......

<..> Last week, the Romney campaign was able to flip the Democrats' so-called "war on women" strategy by highlighting a Democratic strategist's attacks on Ann Romney for never holding a job. Ann Romney told a GOP fundraiser this weekend that the failed Democratic talking point had been a "birthday gift."

"That wasn't how I meant it," Ann Romney told Sawyer. "It was a birthday gift to me because I love the fact that we're talking about this."

She's already walking it back since the initial landslide where she was such a pitiful victim. When she was heard gloating about the made up slam she suddenly doesn't look so good. And they know it.

While I am one who can totally relate to what Hillary Rosen said, I thought, "okay, Ann Romney felt like she was being attacked for being a stay-at-home mom and took offense to it. " Considering some of the crass things that have been said about Michelle Obama, I thought Ann Romney got off easy. Still, the GOP jumped on it because they thought it gave them an opening to reaching women. But, when I read the "birthday comment", that went beyond the pale.

To keep this mode of attack up, the GOP know it will bite them in the ass. If it weren't for their millions, she may have played it off better, but with two cadillacs, nannies, multiple houses, etc., nah...

FYI: The CNN Poll that show women voters back POTUS 55%-39% over Romney was taken TWO DAYS after Rosen's comments. #HappyBirthdayMissAnn Smile

One thing to add Ann Romney wants in
on the fight but she and the Right don't want her attacked...F$%&...them. They went after Michelle Obama in a cruel, cruel way and they were unrepentent.
