Democrats for Progress Blog, week in review, April 15
If you haven't checked out the DFP Blog this week, here's what you missed:
The jerks over at Fox & Friends may not have a clue about the Republican War on Women, but Nance Greggs does, and she's happy to share her knowledge with Steve Doocy and company. Mitt Romney might not be as clueless as he seems. With this whole silly presidential obsession of his doomed to failure, don't be surprised if you see Mitt popping up on an infomercial one of these days. The Deperate Blogger has the details. The 30th They Said What? explores the cavernous reaches of Hugh Hewitt's skull, where George Bush is a model of restraint, faith and service to freedom and Barack Obama is a shambling incompetent. In this week's Digging Deeper, Walter Rhett surveys Republican malfeasance in an assortment of states and in Congress, and the curious disconnect between their actions and their rhetoric. Nance Greggs has a new pen pal, former presidential candidate Rick Santorum. I don't think this is going to work out... This week's Take Five looks at Wisconsin's recall race, along with some very fuzzy math, scorched earth legislation, sleazy sandwiches, and a couple of complete nincompoops. Chris Weigant discusses Allen West, Hilary Rosen, Peter Shumlin, Cory Booker and Ann Romney in this week's Friday Talking Points. And RL Gardner's Sunday Talks runs down the guest list for today's talk shows. (Does John McCain do anything other than yap into a camera these days?) Support your local blog!
