Why should the answer be handled at all, publicly or privately? The kid has a right to his goals in life. The asst. principal who purposely embarrassed the student by taking him off the stage....what kind of nut would do that?
I hope his parents raise a big ruckus over this. From what I saw this is a public school, not some religious academy.
