GOP Congressman Steve King, a notoriously anti-gay, small government hypocrite, told a reporter that gays should lie about their sexuality unless they want to risk being fired for being gay, and that government has no business telling business they cannot fire someone just because they’re gay.

My dear TINS.. this is my representative.. and I cannot tell you how hard we worked in 2010, ..he was one of the many people that went after our judges who upheld our marriage laws for all.

On my hands and knees crawling over broken glass.. we tried to get people to wake and smell the coffee.

We need every and I mean every person who is a self proclaimed Democrat, Liberal, Progressive, Libertarian, Moderates of all parties to engage.

No hemming and hawing and let me get back to you on that gets past me for a second now.

God Bless Joe Biden for coming out a couple of weeks ago and adding northwest Iowa to his busy agenda.

Christie Vilsack is running against Rep. King.. and is our biggest biggest hope to replace him with a little sanity.

I know we are pretty darned red out here.. (Iowa is the soul of the bases in one state) Eastern Iowa is pretty darned blue. And we can't do it all.. but we can do this much.

Oh I understood what you were saying Jane.. no problem.. we are pretty thin out here.. blue ranks.. and thank you so much for the donation.. we did get redistricted..and there is hope in that.

I have often said.. I wonder what it would be like, to be in the majority..walk into a coffee-shop and feel everyone there is with you philosophically..must be pretty empowering.. That is the way it is when we go out to Iowa City.. totally different vibe. But this is where I live.. and lots of good decent people who are here. We have to target those independents as well as our registered Democrats. Get those swing voters out there.. they are swing voters for a reason..many of them they do not consume politics 24/7

And when some of our side or who claim to be our side, sits out..I don't have time or patience to listen to what ever their reason is.

It is just too crystal clear what the alternatives are. Especially here in Northwest Iowa
