Also, the officers don't have gloves on for protection. If there was so much blood why don't they have gloves.

The police dp is in big shit, it's obvious they lied in the report.

Get this, they actually had Trayvon's name, address etc on the initial report, they did not mark him as a juvenile, and they identified him as a John Doe. WTF? Wow

That is a very good point!

And notice how easily he gets out of that police car even with his hands handcuffed behind his back?

For someone who claims to have just suffered a beating, he looks remarkably good to me.

Yeah, Zimmrman is looking pretty clean. Touching his jacket without gloves? Hell, anybody who watches CSI or really ANY cop show or movie knows better than to touch potential evidence with ungloved hands!

I also got the sense -- and I know I could be wrong about this -- that the handcuffs were just for "show" because other than wearing those, the cops acted more like they had picked up their good buddy Zimmerman and were going out to get a bit to eat.

Wonder how the nutters are going to spin this?

I thought he was released at the scene? Never taken into custody was my understanding.

That is what I understood as well but apparently he was taken in, questioned and then released.

Supposedly the lead homicide detective on the case wanted to charge him with manslaughter that night but was overruled by the chief in consultation with the state's top prosecutor. What was so important that a call the state prosecutors office was called in to consult?

why the consultation unless they knew Zimmermans dad was a former judge...

That is a possibility. Another I consider possible is that he was given preferential treatment by someone to allow him to expunge his record to get his concealed carry permit and now they need to some CYA.

They seem to have thought they could cover this up but now that people are digging some inconvenient truths seem to be emerging. I am glad that DOJ got on this fairly early as this seems to reach well up into the Florida justice system.

I have patched up a lot of fight and assault victims as well as head injuries. So when I looked at the video is with trained and experienced eyes. I know what happens when one's head is slammed against the ground to the point of drawing blood and I seen more than my share of bloodied and/or broken noses.

So I can say with no doubt or hesitation that man was not assaulted as he claimed. George Zimmerman and the people who have represented him have lied they have lied in a heinous way. The way one takes advantage of the old adage that dead teens tell no tales.

I agree - this shows Zimmerman to be in pretty good shape.

They must also have video from the interrogation room where they questioned him - I'd really like to see that as well.

You know how they keep claiming the photo of Trayvon makes him look young and angelic and he wasn't? That video shows that photo of Zimmerman looking pudgy and pathetic is not current/accurate either.

Yep, he looks pretty much in shape in these pictures, not even close to what the one put out earlier looks like.

He doesn't look injured. If that were the case, the police would have had to take to the ER for a medical evaluation. IAW the SYG law, Martin has a better case than Zimmerman, and Martin is dead.

I don't envy the defense.

I want to know why Zimmerman doesn't have blood on his clothes. If he was under Trayvon and got his gun and shot him in the chest, he would have blood all over him. Nothing adds up here.

This explains why Zimmerman hasn't been seen in public. He knew he wasn't injured and his appearance would show that. He is (or was) trying to buy time so he could claim he "healed" from his so-called injuries.
