Optimistic Santorum makes brief campaign stop in Galesburg

<..> During a brief interview, Santorum sounded a familiar tune. He said Romney “believes in big government, just like Barack Obama. We need someone (as president) who understands government isn’t the solution to our problems.”
He criticized Romney for not laying out any kind “of vision for America. The people of Illinois are figuring this out.”
<..> “Men of quality respect women’s equality,” one sign read. “Women’s rights are human rights,” read another. One young woman held a sign that read, “Keep calm, I’m just gay.”
<..> Santorum rewarded the group near the door by shaking hands there after his arrival. One of the candidate’s security men pushed Duff’s sign down as the candidate approached.
