Sarah Palin challenges Obama to debate
Former Republican Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin on Monday night challenged President Barack Obama to a debate.

“I’m not running for any office, but I’m more than happy to accept the dubious honor of being Barack Obama’s ‘enemy of the week’ if that includes the opportunity to debate him on the issues Americans are actually concerned about,” she wrote on Facebook.

In a recent fundraising video, Obama’s re-election campaign used footage of Palin saying the president wanted to go back to the era of slavery.

“It is taken all these years for many Americans to understand that gravity, that mistake that took place before the Civil War, and why the Civil War had to really start changing America,” she said on Fox News. “What Barack Obama seems to want to do is go back to before those days when we were in different classes based on income, based on color of skin.”

Memo to Sarah Palin: The President of the United States doesn't have time for your nonsense.

I bet this gives Pres Obama a good chuckle tonight. He works hard and Palin is providing him a well-deserved bit of comic relief.

RE: Sarah Palin challenges Obama to debate
I have been puzzling over this statement from Palin since I first herd it.

The only conclusion I can draw is that she thinks that from the civil war to today we have not been divided by income or race.

Now this dim bulb that only learned the Queen doesn't run the government in Britain in 2008 wants to debate a President Obama? Just putting out the idea is so laughably outrageous it should qualify her for an immediate psychological intervention.

RE: Sarah Palin challenges Obama to debate
I remember her debate with Biden.....she said she might not answer the questions as asked, but would say what she wanted.
Same thing, she would be shrill and cutsie and stupid as a rock.

She does support Newt ya know.....the debate begger of the 2012 season.

She knows it will never happen. That is the only reason she has the nerve to propose it.

Look at the bright side: She wouldn't have to ask to call him Barack because she kept calling him O'Bama.

RE: Sarah Palin challenges Obama to debate
She's just trying to save face after the HBO movie.

While the Republican establishment hates her, the base absolutely adores her. She can rile up the folks because she's so glib and so lacking in the appropriate Republican social skills.

Did Democrats give out the details of the story that HBO produced? No, those all had to come from Republicans. Especially the Republican Establishment--who want the idea of Sarah Palin making noises at the Convention in Tampa as much as doing the hot coal walk.

Palin is not very intelligent, but she is glib and cunning. The GOP Establishment has dissed her and she's getting back at them by being in the spotlight--where her fans would still rather have her than any of the "Smartest Boy in Class" guys now running for the Republican nomination.

I love it, she's got to drive them even crazier than she drives us.

She is still running for Homecoming Queen.

Yes, he should debate Palin. Right after he debates my neighbor Doug and the checkout girl at my local food co-op.

I don't know Doug but based on my experience she wouldn't stand a chance against the checkout girl!

Self-preservation:
