Threatening email targets four Missouri Senators
Feb. 21 Jason Hancock The Kansas City Star JEFFERSON CITY | A threatening email directed at four Missouri Senators making reference to U.S. Rep. Gabrielle Giffords has once again raised security concerns at the state Capitol. <..> Democratic Sens. Jolie Justus of Kansas City, Victor Callahan of Independence and Robin Wright-Jones of St. Louis, along with Republican Sen. Jack Goodman of Mount Vernon, were the targets of the email, which was sent to the office of Senate President Pro Tem Rob Mayer early this morning. The subject of the email was gas prices, and it was apparently followed up with another email apologizing. Less than a month ago, Wright-Jones, Justus and Callahan were among a group of six lawmakers who found orange stickers with the image of rifle cross hairs on the name plates outside their office doors. When the stickers were removed, some returned to find even larger cross hairs had replaced them. http://midwestdemocracy.com/articles/thr...-senators/ Good grief, such hatred. But stupidity wins out for using email.....I hope they get the perp and put them away for threatening the people. ![]() The GOP conspiracies |
