Both of them could put on a burlap bag and wear it so it looked classy, which as we know from the less-gifted Laura Bush, is not something everyone can do.

Michelle Obama is a First Lady for our times in so many ways. Confident, gifted, hard-working in a career of her choosing, and adaptable the way a president's wife must be. And gorgeous. Seriously, how does she do it?

It looks like she and Dr. Jill Biden have forged a good partnership. (I LOVE how that honorific has been made compulsory, and I wonder who sent the word out? It really seems like something Joe Biden would have insisted on, doesn't it?)
