The candidate that will bring out all the repugs is Obama.

are jumping ship, I have been seeing more and more comments after each debate that the cannot support any of these candidates. So I say let the debates continue, let them spend their money......

202% for Huntsman?
I assume that was a miss print since the only half way "sane" one, Huntsman, has always been in last place.
Isn't it amazing just how unhappy the overs seem to be with the whole bunch of them this year? This is the worst crop of candidates I have seen in my life. I thought 2008 was bad, but this bunch is way, way worse than 2008!

Thanks for the catch, it should be 2.2%. Unfortunately the clock ran out on my ability to edit my post....perhaps an administrator can correct my error for me (please :notworthy
The fact that Republicans are so unhappy with their crop this year is much to my point. The punditry keeps asking why 75 to 80 percent oppose Romney yet 75 to 98 percent oppose the whole list.
I wonder if this may be an indicator of the possibility for a strong 3rd party candidate from the right?

I also wonder if someone will decide to run on as an independent. Ron Paul has said he won't, but his followers may convince him otherwise. This is his last shot at this, so who knows what he might do.
Then there is Newt and his "ego". They may decide "what the hell" and go for it in order to stay in the publics eye, and to help increase his speaking fees of course!
And last but not least, I don't want to forget the Alaskan dimwit who might let her "followers" convince her to go for it since it looks like Mitt will be the republican nominee, and she really might have to run since he does not see things her way, and we all know what she is like!

RE: Who do Republicans want for President?
Ultimately, with this batch, the answer will be 'not Obama'. In the end, as it was for the Democrats in '04, it's not going to be a winning strategy.

RE: Who do Republicans want for President?
I was talking about this with Richard Viguerie, with whom I usually agree on exactly nothing. The one thing we both agreed on was that the Republicans were so far pretty well decided on None-Of-The-Above.
Though somewhere to the right of Attila The Hun, Richard was the only one I know who correctly predicted that Santorum would tie Romney in Iowa.
