Back to back debates. Will they all be there? Any dropouts after Iowa?
Can Rick Perry remember his name with only a 10 hour turnaround?

Now looks like it will be down to 5 for those debates with Perry and Bachmann quitting. OMG that means Newt will have more time to fuck up the world.

Eligibility for Sunday debate??
NBC NEWS/FACEBOOK GOP PRESIDENTIAL CANDIDATES DEBATE —JAN. 8, 2012

ELIGIBILITY STANDARDS:

The purpose of these eligibility standards is to give Americans watching the NBC News/Facebook debate on “Meet the Press” an opportunity to hear all Republicans who have a reasonable prospect of becoming the GOP nominee and who have demonstrated that they are in a credible position to be a principal competitor in the nominating contest.

1. A candidate must be on the ballot in the New Hampshire Republican primary.

AND

2. A candidate must demonstrate that he/she has registered at least five percent (5%) support as the preferred nominee among Republicans in a methodologically sound and recognized national or New Hampshire poll conducted by one of the following survey organizations after Dec. 1, 2011: (National) Gallup, CBS/NYT, ABC/Washington Post, NBC/WSJ, Bloomberg/Seltzer, AP/GFK, CNN/Opinion Research, Fox; (NH) NBC/Marist, CNN/Time, Univ. of NH/WMUR A candidate must have finished fourth or better in the Iowa cacucuses a candidate must have received 10 per cent or more of the vote in the Iowa caucuses.

http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/20114724/

This is how they finished in Iowa:

Mitt Romney
25% 30,015
Rick Santorum 25% 30,007
Ron Paul 21% 26,219
Newt Gingrich 13% 16,251
Rick Perry 10% 12,604
Michele Bachmann 5% 6,073
Jon Huntsman 1% 745

So the question is......will MSNBC let Huntsman and Perry be in on the debate Sunday morning ? That's what it looks like to me, even though Huntsman is doing ok in NH.

This is the current NH polls:

Friday, January 06
Race/Topic (Click to Sort) Poll Results Spread
New Hampshire Republican Presidential Primary Suffolk/7News Tracking Romney 40, Paul 17, Santorum 11, Huntsman 8, Gingrich 9, Perry 1 Romney +23

New Hampshire Republican Presidential Primary Rasmussen Reports Romney 42, Paul 18, Santorum 13, Huntsman 12, Gingrich 8, Perry 1 Romney +24
