#2 Question of the Week
[Image: Question_of_the_Week.jpg]

12/26/11
We are on the countdown to the New Year. What will your wishes be for 2012?

My answer:
#1 to see Barack Obama re-elected.
#2 to see the economy continue to grow
#3 to watch my family hang in there and the grandkids to do well in school/college so the oldest 2 can find good jobs.

RE: #2 Question of the Week
Personal wish: to take steps to continue to be in good health
National wish: for everyone who wants and needs a job to be able to find one, and for the re-election of Barack Obama

"I give thanks for this perfect day. Miracle will follow miracle and wonders will never cease."

RE: #2 Question of the Week
* A Democratic landslide in November, House, Senate, and (without saying) President Obama re-elected
* Opportunity for everyone, no matter what the endeavor (but exempting bankers, hedge fund managers, and anyone who has robbed the economy by stealing the equity in our homes, the theft of our savings, stagnating wages, refusing to hire, etc.--they've had opportunity enough) and a chance to shine in your chosen field.
*Peace on Earth. For everyone, no exceptions.

Where's the #1 question? roflmao

#1 Obama2012 of course!

Personal wish is that my two daughters would get along. Sigh.

I was born a Truman, but you can call me Pat. Wave

"They want to give people like me a two hundred thousand dollar tax cut that’s paid for by asking thirty three seniors to each pay six thousand dollars more in health costs? That’s not right, and it’s not going to happen as long as I’m President." Barack Obama

RE: #2 Question of the Week
I would like all Americans to be able to recognize the difference between

this:

Quote:Give me your tired, your poor,
Your huddled masses yearning to breathe free

and this:

Quote:I'll tell you what -- $10,000 bucks, $10,000 bet

Confirmed, Fox "news" makes you stupid

The ones you are noticing are more terrified than anything else. They are lashing out because they are comfortable; and to acknowledge what is happening is a threat to that comfort. Ignore them, for they are not the voices that will rise in the coming days, months and years. They are not the voices of our collected humanity. They are the old voices of fear and impotence. - Anonymous

#3 very similar!

"Change will not come if we wait for some other person or some other time. We are the ones we've been waiting for. We are the change that we seek." Barack Obama

My New Year's Wishes
1. Obama is re-elected.
2. I lose 30 pounds. (And I started working on that today).
3. My work load increases so that my income does the same.

I have to say that #1 is MY #1. If Obama loses, well, that may have no bearing on my weight, but I think it would have an impact on my job.

After all, I do work with those gawdammed injured workers who are lazy no-gooders just wanting to suck off the GubMit!

Silence is consent.

RE: #2 Question of the Week
Hmmm, wishes for the new year...Well , first and foremost I hope my kids continue to learn, grow, be happy healthy. I want the Dems to sweep the elections in November. I hope my long shot investment continues to pay off so I can get the hell out of my current situation.

Yep, that about covers it for now.

I hope you all have a great new year!

Julie
