Think the Powers-That-Be aren't worried about OWS?
With a hat tip to commondreams.org, the most recent issue of TIME says it all. This first one is the USA edition:

Now the European edition:

And the Asian edition:

Lastly, the South Pacific edition:

Hmmmmmmmmm.

Heaven forbid the snooze media show us how things are and let us make up our own minds about them!

Silence is consent.

No kidding. I found this so Orwellian it gave me goosebumps.

Yes, but the anxiety that this Orwellian cover swap gives you is good for you, donchaknow?

Confirmed, Fox "news" makes you stupid

The ones you are noticing are more terrified than anything else. They are lashing out because they are comfortable; and to acknowledge what is happening is a threat to that comfort. Ignore them, for they are not the voices that will rise in the coming days, months and years. They are not the voices of our collected humanity. They are the old voices of fear and impotence. - Anonymous

It reminds me of something my dad noticed, all those years ago when you only had three choices of evening news when you got home from work: CBS, NBC and ABC. He would tell my mom "See, the only commercials they cut to during the whole news broadcast are for aspirin and pepto bismol!".

It looks like it may be a case of projection.

It may be they who have anxiety.

Wow, good call. I never considered that (my wife, who is a counselor, is pretty disappointed that I didn't notice that right away).

What have the TIME covers got to do with OWS?

That revolution appears to be taking place elsewhere.

"Change will not come if we wait for some other person or some other time. We are the ones we've been waiting for. We are the change that we seek." Barack Obama

Is féidir linn.

If you have your ear properly to the rails, the "revolution" is going on everywhere.
