MTP: Discussing Obama's Year With No Blacks/Minorities on the Panel
I guess it's typical of the MSM - white guy Dave Gregory has on his fellow all-white panel to discuss Obama's year-end victories.

Old white guy Tom Bloklaw sums up Obama's two years in office by saying. "well, let's not get ahead of ourselves - he's had a good month."

RW shill Peggy Noonan - OK, I turn the sound off when she's still fawning over Reagan 30 years later. I don't care what her opinion is, so I didn't hear it.

Bob Woodward does his usual schtick - I get that he won't be writing a version of "Bush at War" as a recap to the past 2 years.

And Doris K Goodman adds a bit of perspective to things without having a strong enough voice to make an impression.

So, there you have it! The last MTP show of an amazing year without a minority or left wing voice to be found anywhere near the proceedings.

Not the slightest bit surprised. I stopped watching that show once Gregory took over. I think I have seen about 5 minutes of it since. Thank you for confirming that I made the right decision.

Rome wasn't built in a Day,
this shit didn't happen overnight, and 30 minute sitcoms are only on TV!

Yeah, I thought they really blew it when Tim Russert went to the Big Green Room In The Sky by not giving the show to Chelsea Handler. MTP still wouldn't have much credibility, but at least it would have been entertaining to watch.

I hope the had a defillibrator close at hand. Lots of huffing and puffing was going on.

The Old Guard is rapidly becoming irrelevant as the Inside The Beltway know-it-alls are being ignored by this president, and the administration is getting things accomplished while the cocktail circuit members blather on mindlessly.

Amazing, ain't it? I applaud those of you who can still watch these clowns. However, I'm afraid I don't have the stomach for it. They can all kiss my behind. I haven't watched MTP since Tim Russert died, and it sounds like I haven't missed much.

Pretty telling, a panel of whites dissecting the African American president. The sad thing is they probably didn't think a thing about it. We're not there yet.

No ,I am more than sure they thought about it. They had exactly who they wanted on the show. I stopped watching the show when Tim Russert died.

which of course is a lot more than could be said about the sad state of affairs of MTP.

I recorded it and now don't have to watch it.

And, not much sign of intelligent life, either..what a tragic farce mtp turned out to be.
