Pete Dominick

Dunno if anyone listens to satellite radio. They have a channel called P.O.T.U.S. and from 3-6 EST with a repeat at 9-12 they have a guy on named Pete Dominick. He is a comedian but he does a political talk show. His theory is he just wants to discuss the issues and leave labels aside.

I think its an awesome show but I am curious if anyone here listens to it and what their take on him is.

Unfortunately you can only get clips online unless you are an XM or Sirus subscriber.

The whole P.O.T.U.S. channel is really worth the subscription if you spend a lot of time in the car. They broadcast all the daily white house press briefings live and most of Obamas speeches as they happen. The whole channels theory is to bring you the news from DC live and unfiltered so that you can decide for yourself instead of getting the edited clips that are spun one way or another.

Pete also does a segment for CNN on the John king show called pete on the street. It is pretty much a puff piece but he is getting his foot in the door. If CNN is smart they will give him his own show.

Durring the whole health care debate he had a doctor on disscussing the legislation and explaining it to people like three or four times a week. It was awesome and about the only place in the media where you could get actual discussion of what the legislation did or didnt do without the silly talk about death pannels and other garbage.
