Seriously, Willard? You want THIS guy's support?

Quote:CBS’ This Morning’s Jeff Glor asked Nugent if the Romney campaign had a problem with his NRA comments. Nugent said that the Romney campaign has expressed nothing but support for him after the outrageous remarks. “Stay on course, Ted,” the Romney campaign reportedly told Nugent. “Freedom of speech is a beautiful thing.”

Seriously, Mitt Romney is really proud to have this guy as a supporter? Sounds like Nugent and Romney both need to get their heads examined.

I am so happy this interview happened. Now everyone can see what a headcase this guy is. Oh, real classy how he asks the off camera producer's assistant if she wants a fuck. Right in front of his own (Ted's) wife, too.

What a hunk of garbage. Keep pickin em like this Mitt. November's gonna be a cakewalk.

Romney is a flipping coward if he doesn't denounce this piece of shit.

He came out with a brave, no holds barred statement that basically said "everybody talk nice."

It seems like Willard needs any warm body who will support him since Gallup says he's the least liked pub in modern history within his own party. Wink

RE: Seriously, Willard? You want THIS guy's support?
I hate to say it but I saw him in concert circa 1982-83. He was part of the show that was headlined by ZZ Top. The only thing memorable about his performance was his crazy antics, not his music. Only song by him I knew was Cat Scratch Fever, but his show consisted mostly of him climbing the cages that encased the amps and making stupid faces.

This was before I knew what an asshole he was but I remember his show was not impressive and most of the audience didn't think so either, as I remember most people used his time on stage to hit the beer stands or go the the restroom.

Let's not forget how the rabid racist RW went insane over Rev. Wright and how then-candidate Obama was forced to denounce him. Ted Nugent and others of the rabid RW get away with threats of violence directed in the President's direction. But IOKIYAR.

Hypocrisy, thy name is republican.

And here is just a short sample of some of the disgusting remarks Nugent has made over the years:

“You probably can’t use the term ‘toxic cunt’ in your magazine, but that’s what she is. Her very existence insults the spirit of individualism in this country. This bitch is nothing but a two-bit whore for Fidel Castro.” -Ted Nugent, Westword Newspaper, Denver, Colorado, July 27, 1994

“Obama, he’s a piece of shit, and I told him to suck on my machine gun…Hey Hillary, you might want to ride one of these into the sunset, you worthless bitch!" -Ted Nugent

"Yeah they love me [in Japan] – they’re still assholes. These people they don’t know what life is. I don’t have a following, they need me; they don’t like me they need me. Foreigners are assholes; foreigners are scum; I don’t like ‘em; I don’t want ‘em in this country; I don’t want ‘em selling me doughnuts; I don’t want ‘em pumping my gas; I don’t want ‘em downwind of my life-OK? So anyhow-and I’m dead serious.” -Ted Nugent, November 19, 1992, WRIF-FM, Detroit

“My being there (South Africa) isn’t going to affect any political structure. Besides, apartheid isn’t that cut-and-dry. All men are not created equal.” Detroit Free Press Magazine, July 15, 1990

“The preponderance of South Africa is a different breed of man…They still put bones in their noses, they still walk around naked, they wipe their butts with their hands. And when I kill an antelope for ‘em, their preference is the gut pile. That’s what they fucking want to eat, the intestines. These are different people. You give them toothpaste, they fucking eat it.” Detroit Free Press Magazine, July 15, 1990

In order to defeat liberals on the political-ideology battlefield, conservatives must be clear in purpose and then get after it by targeting (yes, I said targeting) and attacking Democratic nostrums that have weakened America. Expose, isolate and eliminate liberals and their fuzzy-headed policies." -Ted Nugent, after The Tucson Shooting where Rep. Gabrielle Giffords was shot, Washington Times, 1/13/11

"If the NBA had any true gay convictions, the NBA should host a Homosexual Night. During halftime, the homosexuals could come down on the court, hold hands and prance around the court to music by the Village People. The NBA could then give each homosexual a pink basketball as a symbol of solidarity....Homosexuals are a protected class in America. If you think what happened to Mr. Bryant was a travesty, just wait until you see what homosexuals in the military do when they claim they have been mistreated because of their sexual orientation." -Ted Nugent, in response to the NBA for fining Kobe Bryant for using a gay slur, April, 2011

RE: Seriously, Willard? You want THIS guy's support?
YES, YES, a thousand times, YES!

Romney actually thinks that Nugent is his bridge to the 'Common Folk' who all idolize that draft-dodging pedophile.

I wonder if Rmoney knows that Nugent is *not* a well-loved person by as many people as he thinks.

Nugent's negatives far outweigh the drooling voter faction that might follow him.
