Rick Santorum continued to rail against President Obama’s so-called war against religion during a town hall in Plano, Texas Wednesday night. The former Pennsylvania senator — who has spent the last several days criticizing the government’s requirement that insurers provide contraception coverage and the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeal’s decision striking down Proposition 8 — accused the administration of “crushing” religion and setting the United States on the path towards executing religious people by decapitation:

Good Lord in Heaven.. is this man totally insane.. that dog whistle will appeal to a few.. but even the most fervent right are going to be insulted by that type of language. That and the "public" laying on of hands by 100 ministers is going to go against the grain of a the religious community...

Yes no doubt about it, the man is insane! The only voters he has a chance at are the "nuts" and the over zealous religious fanatics, and even though they can't put him in as the nominee, he is going after them, big time!

As long as he keeps this insane talk up, and Mitt's PAC's go after him, he won't stand a chance in any state that doesn't have a majority of loonies, and religious nuts in it. I can't wait till the next debate to see the "clowns" go for each others throats! Nanner

It happened yesterday jaxx.. saw a clip on CNN.. but it just gave you the willies.. the uber religious right believe in a anti Christ coming who will dress in religious garb before he is found out.. and that played right into that fear.

French Revolution. American Revolution. Throwing off rule by religion and monarchies. That was the point. So we could create our own government and rule ourselves.

What is it that these people missed about why we have a Constitution?

They think God wrote the Constitution on stone tablets and gave it to the ~~prophets~~ founding fathers.
