I have an idea. While the congresscritters are all on break, POTUS, FLOTUS and the girls should just pitch a tent on the WH lawn and roast hot dogs and make smores every night.

Lawd knows when they go to Hawaii, it's too far away and exotic, and maybe isn't even in the US according to some.

Also, how is owning a ranch not "elitist"? Not many people have/can afford them, particularly one as environmentally advanced as Bush's Crawford one supposedly was? Isn't this part of our political culture? Doesn't the party out of the WH always complane when these guys go on vacation? i mean it is not as if they are not really in touch when on vacation.
