On Thursday, during the recount in that county (Waukesha, where clerk Kathy Nickolaus, who used to work for Prosser, mysteriously 'found' 14,000 votes 48 hours after polls closed), five out of the first six ballot bags had holes in them.

“There are several bags that appear to be improperly sealed,” acknowledged retired Circuit Court Judge Robert Mawdsley, who is in charge of the recount there, according to an article in the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel.

Second, in the Republican effort to recall three Democratic state senators, huge irregularities have been found.

“The overwhelming evidence clearly shows a pervasive pattern of election fraud,” said state senate Democratic leader Mark Miller.

Democratic Party challenges recall petitions against 3 senators

Circulators hired by the state Republican Party have submitted hundreds if not thousands of invalid signatures in recall drives targeting three Democratic state senators in a “widespread and systemic pattern of election fraud,” Senate Minority Leader Mark Miller, D-Monona, charged at a press conference Thursday.

-snip-

Miller said Thursday that entire pages of signatures should be thrown out because circulators from as far away as Florida, Colorado and New York claimed to live at invalid addresses.

Republicans paid Kennedy Enterprises of Colorado Springs, Colo., $92,000 to circulate petitions. Calls to the company were answered by a message saying the number was temporarily disconnected. An email to company president Dan Kennedy wasn’t returned.

-snip-

“There were hundreds upon hundreds upon hundreds of forged signatures and fraudulently obtained signatures,” he said. “They (circulators) were motivated to do one thing: Fill pages as fast as they could.”

I suppose I shouldn't be surprised that the one's who always accuse others of fraud are doing so out of a guilty conscience, but I am. I hope some or all of the Republican recall petitions are invalidated.

Confirmed, Fox "news" makes you stupid

The ones you are noticing are more terrified than anything else. They are lashing out because they are comfortable; and to acknowledge what is happening is a threat to that comfort. Ignore them, for they are not the voices that will rise in the coming days, months and years. They are not the voices of our collected humanity. They are the old voices of fear and impotence. - Anonymous

i know that feeling, TINS, about finding it hard to believe that, so often, they are projecting like that! as if they can dispel blame that way, like children.

i hope they are invalidated, too. and, if only, prosecuted for it.

As I understand it Wisconsin is known to have clean elections and to take it very seriously, so we will see how that goes. Of course the forces behind this are not of Wisconsin.

i am very glad to read that about Wisconsin, Velleity. because, even if outside forces are acting, the people's taking it so seriously might just cause it to backfire on those forces. it does seem to be happening in Wisconsin, in numerous ways.

thank you!
