NPR chief executive quits over hidden camera video
By Ben Nuckols
Associated Press / March 9, 2011

WASHINGTON—NPR president and CEO Vivian Schiller has resigned in the wake of comments by a fellow executive that angered conservatives and renewed calls to end federal funding for public broadcasting.

The chairman of NPR's board of directors announced Wednesday morning that he has accepted Schiller's resignation, effective immediately.

NPR media correspondent David Folkenflik said in a tweet that Schiller was forced out by the board.

A hidden-camera video of an NPR executive calling the tea party racist and saying the network would be better off without federal money has led to that executive's immediate resignation.

I do not understand why this woman resigned. Color me stupid, but I really don't understand it. She didn't do anything wrong, and neither did the person who was actually at the meeting.

Personally, I think James O'Keefe should resign from the human race and go live in an undisclosed location.

Silence is consent.

That fucker Jame's O'Keefe is behind this. What I wouldn't give to see him go to jail for his bullshit antics. He staged a fake event where this guy thought he was talking to a bunch of donors from a Democratic party affiliated organization.

But somehow, saying that the racist Tea Party motherfuckers are racists is not .....what? Completely objective?
The goddamn FOUNDER of the Tea Party is a racist fuck who knew he could triagulate racist anger at a black president into something. Many of their websites link to fucking Stormfront. There might be some well-meaning people who are members of the Tea Party, but they are so well meaning that they are tolerant of the Racists who run things.

TEA PARTY means RACIST
TEA PARTY means RACIST

That's it. She was right, but you're not supposed to speak the truth out loud in this country - it upsets the hate-filled racists.

How chickenshit do you have to be not to stand up to James O'Keefe? Maybe I'm missing something like she was afraid if she stayed NPR would have a tougher time getting funding and she took one for the team but I didn't notice Scott Walker resigning when he showed what a corrupt asshole he was when he thought Ian Murphy was the one and only big pig Koch.

This aritcle I'm linking calls James O'Keefe a "conservative activist".. "NPR's David Folkenflik, who has been breaking every piece of the story for the network, reported on Twitter this morning that "the board for NPR NEWS has just ousted CEO Vivian Schiller in the wake of video sting by conservative activist of a top exec." But, the mediawhores were refering to Ian Murphy as a prank caller.

Racist teabaggers have the media scrambling to see who's the big friggin' asskisser.
