Democrats for Progress Blog, week in review, May 6
If you haven't checked out the DFP Blog this week, here's what you missed:

Ben Jacobs over at The Daily Beast is wracked with ennui over the field of Democratic candidates who hope to unseat Scott Walker, so much so that he can't even rouse himself to get a few simple facts straight. TSW #32 can, though. You're welcome, Ben.

In this week's Digging Deeper, Walter Rhett focuses on Martin Dempsey, the new Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, and he likes what he sees.

From shameful fake outrage over President Obama daring to talk about having taken out bin Laden to shameful escalation of their already shameful War on Women, Republicans have managed to infuriate RL Gardner, and she's happy to tell them so.

Chris Weigant considers President Obama's foreign policy and national security credentials and how they might figure into this year's election, in this week's edition of Friday Talking Points.

Among the usual array of recycled Republicans on the Sunday talk circuit, including Newt Gingrich, Michele Bachmann and John McCain, RL Gardner finds Vice President Joe Biden. Amazing but true!

The newest Slouching Towards Tampa says good-bye to Newton Leroy Gingrich, ethics-challenged former House Speaker, poster boy for Republican family values and the hardiest blowhard of them all.
