They're hoping the rest of the country will just forget about it.

Some Democrats need to stand up in Congress and yell about this every single day.

That smarmy Cantor put the kibosh on aid. He has made the pubs afraid to vote for the aid to Joplin, who will help people unless they can take something away? Joplin is teabagger country...how will the people vote when they have been denied help by their party?

Why is Blunt keeping quiet? McCaskill?

Yet they saw fit to complain that President Obama was in Europe for the G8 and didn't make it to Joplin until the day after he returned. Idiots.

The GOP never lets the facts get in the way of their attacks

Because they're scared of the teabaggers. They know they'll be targeted if they go against them.

While I know you're correct, that just absolute makes my head spin.

If you cannot construct a campaign in Missouri against Teabaggers who try to condemn you for getting (or at least trying all you can to get) help for people in Joplin, you might want to consider a profession other than politics.

Catch 22. Represent your constituents and be targeted or ignore them and be targeted anyway. McCaskill and Blunt are not doing themselves any good with the Dems or the people in Joplin.

When one is in pain, some memories are imprinted. The good follks of Joplin and the state will remember that President Obama was there and they will also remember the Republicans playing games with their lives and their livelihoods.

Somehow, right now Cantor, et al. are cooking up a way to blame this on Pres. Obama. I truly hope the good people of Joplin don't fall for it.
