Wow am I out of the loop
I read the story about Maher having the word "teabagger" censored on Letterman - I thought how ridiculous - then I did some googling -

Wow

Wow

Serious?

Oh, now that's funny! Smile

I had a similar moment of revelation when I googled Rick Santorum's name for the first time without including anything other than his last name. It'd be awesome if they'd censor that. (BTW, don't google it if you are easily squicked. You might want to google squick first, though.)

That's why it is so funny!

Well, last year NPR got called out...
for using "teabagger" in its news shows.

I think I remember the Ombudsman all in sackcloth and ashes for not knowing the "other" definition.

I hate bring this up, but my fave of all of those is the Dutch Rudder-- it's just so ridiculous.

(Does anyone actually do that?)

Not surprised, considering that any activity humans are physically capable of has been tried.
