I just had an old high school friend come visit me last week. This guy and his family helped me to survive when i was young by putting me up when I had no where to live. I have always been indebted to them for that.

He has always been a republican or at least a tool that regurgitates republican memes and we have gotten into many arguments over the years over politics. I remember when the Iraq war started telling him there were no weapons of mass destruction and him telling me I was foolish and didnt know what I was talking about. So it has gone over many conversations over the years.

Anyway he came over to my house this last week, his first to my house out here. He was walking through looking at pictures I have on my wall of my family., when he stopped at one and asked my if one picture was of my wife with her father and my son. A friend of his that was with him immediately chimed in and said thats someone famous isnt it? I wasn't sure what picture he was looking at so I went over to take a look.

It was a picture we got during the last presidential primaries of myself my wife and my kid with Joe Biden LOL.

I asked him if he was serious and didnt really know who it was? His friend chimed in and said isnt he a politician or something...... Banghead

All I can say is the look of embarrassment on their faces when I said it was the Vice President of the United States was very satisfying. It was at that point I told him.

"And with that I will never take you seriously again when it comes to politics."

Unbelievable. I bet they would have recognized a pic of Limbaugh or Hannity or Beck.

Priceless! Our low key VP busted them.. Low key especially when it comes to mainstream corporatemediawhores who report on the 1/2 term gov of Alaska as if she were the VP.

Bet they would have recognized Palin! I remember noticing the media gave her twenty times the exposure they gave to Biden.

Not that it helped her. In her case, it probably hurt her chances.

wow...and for a second there, I though you were going to say that your friend said that to you. lol

But what occurred to me is your friend's stance to fight so hard for an ideology and yet be so removed from the circumstances that supposedly creates that ideology.....just wierd.
