Today we were all disrespected
As a 63 year old white woman, I was disrespected today by that reporter who interrupted the President who is from my party.

As a member of a multi-racial family American family.. we were all disrespected today by paid right wing shills who are masquerading as reporters to try and undermine how our elected leader is treated when he is giving a policy statement.

This type of spitting in MY eye fires me up like nothing else to get out and work and vote out ALL republicans on the local level as well as the national level who sign on to this type of disrespectful rude behavior..

Thoughtful responses are the first victims of partisan passions.

Well said, Peacetrain! There was something about this incident today that just really ticked me off - we're all well used to Republican nonsense and disrespect aimed at Pres. Obama - but this was unbelievable. The cherry on top was here was a guy who is actually an immigrant himself - castigating the president with a false right-wing talking point about "foreign workers" - when he himself is a "foreign worker." It's beyond the pale.

Well, he's apparently an okay "foreign worker" since his skin is pasty white.

Silence is consent.

I will be the first to admit jane.. the dog days of summer are hard for me to volunteer and go and make calls at our local Democratic headquarters office.. I want to be out fishing, or hiking.. anything but calling..but I am so sick and tired of being spit on by right wing shills.. that the office and calling next week is looking really good right now!!
