RE: Zimmerman’s Father Speaks Out on Hannity
I'm not surprised Zimmerman's father would go on Hannity. Softball questions, friendly ground. His father already proved he's a racist when he called out President Obama, the National Black Caucus and the NAACP for spreading "hate." Those remarks were also made when he was on FOX.

Furthermore, all these people speaking on Zimmerman's behalf are simply repeating what Zimmerman told them, as if he is a saint who would never dare tell a lie. Any remark Zimmerman makes is of course going to be self serving!

And it's striking that these two lawyers have NOT even met Zimmerman, so actually they are just repeating what they heard second hand, probably from the father.

I can understand a father defending his child, but he lost all credibility with me when he accused President Obama of spreading hate. There's only one reason I can think of for him to single out Obama: because of the color of his skin. Like father, like son....

Funny how Fox automatically feels compelled to take up the cause of the white guy with a gun who killed a black kid - even if the kid wasn't doing anything, because, you know, he's black (everybody shudder now.)

Yep. Reinforce the stereotype of the out-of-touch white gun-toting ignoramus bigots being the core of the Republican party. Keep it up Hannity - your party is fading from relevance daily as it narrows who is an acceptable member of your klan.

Good job Fox.

Confirmed, Fox "news" makes you stupid

The ones you are noticing are more terrified than anything else. They are lashing out because they are comfortable; and to acknowledge what is happening is a threat to that comfort. Ignore them, for they are not the voices that will rise in the coming days, months and years. They are not the voices of our collected humanity. They are the old voices of fear and impotence. - Anonymous

It seems the right wingers have developed
simple knee jerk reactions to everything. No matter the topic or issue if it doesn't help white males gain or maintain a position of power/advantage than they are against it. Right or wrong ; moral or immoral those concepts no longer factor into the equation. It's like the GOP has launched wars on multiple fronts, they are at war with:

Minorities
the GLBT community
Non- Christians (with Jewish people being given a semi-pass)
Women
Anyone that isn't a member of the 1%
Tolerance
Democracy

I mean with the battles they are raging they should be getting less support than the old communist party that used to show up on ballots. Instead thanks to their unlimited billionaire and corporate funds and the FAUX news propaganda network and control of the MSM they actually are in a position to threaten our freedoms, liberties and American way of life.

RE: Zimmerman’s Father Speaks Out on Hannity
What really gets me about his dad is the lack of integrity he has as a man and a father. For example, he's got to have heard the 911 tapes where George blatantly goes against the dispatcher and stalks Trayvon. So why defend this?

It's obvious that George's dad has been an enabler to his son's behavior all these years. That's why George keeps doing these stupid things. This time, his daddy won't be able to fix it and by these interviews, it shows. You can see the desperation.

Bottom line is I am sure dear old dad has heard his son use racial epitaphs. I am sure he has witnessed on many occasions his son lose his temper and go into a blind rage. While as a father he would like to think his son wasn't capable of murder he knows full well that he can. Worse to protect his son he is actively seeking to destroy the reputation and memory of his son's victim. Talk about totally destroying a person. The son kills him in cold blood and the father tries to destroy the memory and reputation that remains.
