Ologo Another milestone for the Obama Recovery, "Stocks Rally to Pre-Crisis Heights"
http://www.nytimes.com/2012/03/14/busine...ml?_r=1&hp

Quote:Stocks climbed to new heights in part on rosy retail sales data on Tuesday, pushing the broad market to levels last seen in June 2008 and the Nasdaq composite index to close above the 3,000 milestone for the first time since 2000.

... Though it has been flirting with closing above 3,000 for weeks, the index is now up 16 percent this year, more than the other two main Wall Street gauges. The Standard & Poor’s 500-stock index has jumped 11 percent so far this year, while the Dow Jones industrial average is up about 8 percent. Both of those indexes this year have already returned to their trading levels from before the 2008-09 financial crisis.

Really good news. People watch the market and going up is good for the confidence level, even for those of us who don't participate. I remember at work people would get all fired up if it gained....and dejected when it went down.

I hope McConnell's chin is quivering tonight. LOL

Every time I hear or read his name I get an image of the smirk on his face when he pronounced that his top priority in Congress was to defeat the President.

I want to wipe that smirk from his face for good with an overwhelming Democratic victory in November.

Obama is nearly done cleaning up the GOP's mess
and now the GOP wants to kick him out of the White House
