The hottest political speculation of the morning that does not involve Sheldon Adelson’s bank account comes from Minnesota, to which Mitt Romney is suddenly racing for an early afternoon rally. And the rumor is that he’s going to get an endorsement from Michele Bachmann, who could really use help from someone with deep pockets in retiring her campaign debt.

Tea party favorite Rep. Michele Bachmann, R-Minn., on Wednesday denied a Boston Globe report that she and GOP presidential candidate Mitt Romney are in talks over a possible endorsement.
"Let me be absolutely clear, there are absolutely no negotiations between me and the Romney campaign regarding any pending endorsement of Governor Romney," Bachmann said in a statement. "The Boston Globe article today is completely false and I call on The Globe to retract their article."
